Ajinomoto wants to make Neubourg a mainstay of its production of gyozas in Europe
For the past few months, the Ajinomoto factory in Neubourg (Eure) has been operating a new production line for gyozas (small Japanese ravioli). A novelty that illustrates the ambitions of the Japanese group. Since the Japanese group took over the walls and activities of Labeyrie frozen catering in 2017, it has had great ambitions and has given itself the means to achieve them. Thus, to create a brand new 2,000 m² building and equip it with state-of-the-art machinery, developed and patented by the Ajinomoto group itself, 13 million euros have already been injected into the European factory. And that's just the beginning. To fully exploit the chain's capacities, with 30 people per team, 90 job creations will have been necessary. The installation of a second gyoza manufacturing line would therefore create as many jobs in the near future.
