11 million for the new Sargam carpentry factory

Sargam carpentry, a subsidiary of the Sothogam group (Sothoferm, Sidonie and Sthéma), will set up a new factory near the Sothoferm site in Mauzé-Thouarsais (79), with a total investment of 11 million euros for the buildings and 5 million euros for machines. The current premises as well as growth forecasts prompted the company to make this decision. The current 6,500 m² are not enough to effectively organize production, and the dilapidation of the premises, especially social premises, was a determining factor. This new establishment will allow the group to progress on several fronts: optimization and security of production flows, improvement of raw material storage conditions, improvement of working conditions (QVT), expansion of space and improvement of conditions of use. social and administrative premises, improvement of energy performance, as well as a technological upgrade with the introduction of new equipment (CNC, varnish application, etc.).
