Airbus modernizes and accelerates A320neo production in Toulouse

Airbus has just started construction of a new A320neo assembly line in Toulouse with the aim of replacing an aging and less efficient installation and thus helping to accelerate production from next year. While this move will not result in a net increase in the number of assembly lines, it is part of plans to modernize and accelerate production of the best-selling A320neo/A321neo family in order to meet growing demand at a time when aircraft supply is under severe pressure. Next objective: transfer the Toulouse A320 line from its current location in the former Concorde assembly hall to the former A380 assembly plant, one of the largest industrial buildings in the world.
