NORELEM
Steel rotation dampers right-hand rotation, left-hand rotation or bi-directional rotation
The norelem range now includes rotation dampers: these machine elements, maintenance-free and ready to install, allow rotary or linear movements to be braked and damped in a controlled manner.
This is, for example, very useful for small covers, compartments and drawers. Rotation dampers reduce wear on components on the one hand, and increase their value on the other. Therefore, they are not only used in machine and plant construction, but also in the furniture industry. Rotation dampers also prove themselves in linear slides, pneumatic cylinders and conveyor systems. |
The outer body of norelem rotation dampers is made of zinc-plated steel, and their Morse cone is made of plastic. These standardized parts are available in two different forms: The Morse cone of form A is round, the damping can be done clockwise or counterclockwise. The shape B Morse cone is rectangular, the rotation damper brakes movements in both directions. If two rotation dampers are to be used for unidirectional damping, one model with left rotation and one model with right rotation should be installed. By installing two models with the same direction of rotation, the effect obtained is that of a bi-directional shock absorber. |
The rotation dampers are available in two different sizes, with torques ranging from 1 to 8 Nm. Their maximum speed is 50 rpm. Their maximum cadence is 12/min and corresponds to a 360° rotation to the left and to the right. |
Material: Steel outer body.
Plastic morse cone. Finish: Zinc-plated steel. Note: Rotation dampers are maintenance-free, ready-to-install elements that brake and dampen rotary or linear movements in a controlled manner.
Rotation dampers enable smooth opening and closing of small covers, compartments and drawers. Rotation dampers help protect sensitive components, increasing product quality and value.
Rotation dampers allow rotation to be braked to the right, left or in both directions.
A cadence corresponds to one 360° turn to the left and one 360° turn to the right. Caution: The cone of the rotation damper must not be used as a support, but as a guide or external bearing.
