Centering chucks for small bores for automated tightening
The centering chuck is used in small bores (blind or through bores) to position and clamp workpieces. The clamping movement is carried out from below, manually or automatically, pneumatically or hydraulically.
They can be remachined to the desired diameter. The positioning bore of the workpiece must have a tolerance of H7.
Dmin. = smallest admissible diameter at which “D” can be machined.
- usable in bores from Ø5 to Ø12.5 mm
- compact structure, reduced installation space
- easy handling
- free mounting position
- different mounting variants possible
- protection of the surface of the part thanks to surface pressure
- adaptable to each diameter
Matter :
Stainless steel 1.4305.
Finish: Natural. Technical data: The max. pulling force. kN indicated in the table corresponds to the traction axis D4. Assembly: If necessary, diameter D can be adapted to the diameter to be tightened. In this case, widen the centering chuck by approx. 0.2 mm (tightening stroke) relative to the diameter at rest by securing the pull rod (cross-head pan head screw) using the hexagonal nut provided. The centering mandrel is then machined to the inside diameter of the part.
