Pneumatic form chuck
The body can be screwed onto the tools depending on the assembly dimensions.
Tightening procedure:
Opening of the collet by injecting compressed air into the "open" connection.
Closing the collet chuck (tightening procedure) by injecting compressed air into the “close” connection.
The pneumatic connections can be screwed either from below or from the side. In the case of air supply from below, the side pneumatic connections must be closed.
Machining of the collet for external clamping:
The shape of the part to be clamped is machined into the collet. Various shapes and asymmetrical contours are possible.
A simple change of the collet chuck allows different workpieces to be clamped safely and quickly.
The collet can be milled up to height H2. This makes it possible to machine several workpiece contours in the collet.
