Positioning systems
The positioning systems can be used in machine and special machine construction, in measuring technology, for optical applications, in many areas of automation, in laboratories for the production of testing devices and in modelling. The virtually play-free guidance of the positioning tables makes it easy to achieve exact positioning in tool systems or handling systems.
The complete norelem range includes a wide selection of positioning systems. In addition to motorized positioning tables, norelem also offers classic manual positioning systems .
The virtually play-free guidance of our positioning tables makes it easy to achieve exact positioning in tool systems or handling systems. Their slide can be adjusted using a play-free screw, without the latter having to be tightened or loosened further. The radial play of the guide is less than 0.02 mm. The play-free screw of the positioning tables also has the advantage of being self-locking and having an additional clamping function .

Materials of positioning systems
The support blocks and carriages of the norelem positioning tables are made of an aluminium alloy which is then anodised. The guide columns and the rolled thread screws are made of stainless steel. In addition, the carriage is fitted with a maintenance-free plain bearing to enable it to move with the least possible resistance. Depending on the positioning table model, position indicators are offered in our online shop using plastic.

In addition to conventional positioning tables, norelem also offers technicians and designers positioning tables with an integrated position indicator. The latter indicates the position of the carriage on a display with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. The position indicator can be attached to four different locations on the carriage using a threaded connection.
For automated applications, our positioning tables are also available with electric drive and integrated control .

Adjustment range of positioning systems
The adjustment range of the positioning systems varies depending on the length of the positioning table:
- between 11 and 25 mm for short tables
- between 23 and 86 mm for long tables
Positioning tables and cross tables can be moved from left to right; lifting tables from up to down.

Cross tables
Cross tables differ from positioning tables in the extent of their accessories. Cross tables can be easily supplemented with lifting tables and other accessories.
Lifting tables
Lifting tables are used when components or modules (stops, sensors, limit switches, tables, cameras, complete modules, etc.) need to be positioned at height.
Circular positioning tables
norelem circular positioning tables have an adjustment angle of 360° without end stops.
