NORELEM
Sliders for roller chains
No risk of wear: norelem roller chain sliders
Guiding roller chains optimally, reducing vibrations and noise, and extending the service life of chain drives – it's easy with norelem components: Slide rails and corresponding C-profiles are available in numerous versions .
Chain drives are a classic among transmission systems: they ensure constant mechanical energy transmission and transmission ratios. These systems mainly use roller chains, which are available in different versions from norelem and therefore suitable for many applications.
To minimize wear on roller chains, the use of sliders is recommended. They support and guide the roller chains in the untensioned strand, reduce the occurrence of vibrations and noises, and help extend the overall life of the installation. norelem sliding profiles are suitable for roller chains according to DIN ISO 606, and are available in many different sizes and versions. They are made of high molecular weight polyethylene. This material convinces both with an extended temperature range from -200°C to +60°C (briefly up to +80°C) and with self-lubricating properties – the slideways are therefore maintenance-free. In addition, they are resistant to most acids and other chemicals.
Users can fix the slides – available from norelem with a fixed length of 2000 mm – to the installation using tapped or countersunk holes.
norelem also offers C-profiles in steel or stainless steel, which can be screwed or welded during installation. The sliding profiles with integrated guide grooves can then be inserted into the C-profiles and are thus protected against transverse forces and torsion. As the slides move freely in the C-profiles, they can expand with changes in temperature.
