MZM100 safety interlock, contactless & CSS technology
The MZM100 uses an electromagnet to generate a self-controlled holding force of 500N - transmits the signal "Safety interlock locked" to the safety module which controls the signals. - without mechanical locking system with positive connection, which avoids any risk of breakage or injury - absence of moving components, the device is insensitive to mechanical wear - significant backlash between the lock and the actuator: avoids any flapping of the guard, even in the event of strong machine vibrations - smooth surfaces of the locking device and the actuator: easy to clean - integrated sensor with CSS induction technology (with echo analysis): a Schmersal patent for detect the position of the guard
- for all doors and covers requiring strong hold - suitable for applications requiring a category 4 safety level according to EN 954-1 or safety integrity level SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 - magnetic locking principle which meets the requirements of all applicable standards, such as EN 60947-5-1 - for applications where the risk of breakage or injury to users is to be excluded - food industry environment for version 120- counter-plate in contact with the electromagnet - high tolerance to misalignment - self-controlled holding force of 500N - exists in a food-processing version under the name MZM 120
