Faster and faster industrial doors associated with high-performance security systems are the requirements imposed on security equipment as well as on the transmission of signals from contact detectors. To respond to this and ensure a high level of security, BBC Bircher is increasing the security level of its signal transmitter: RFGate 3 PLd and category 3.

Category 3, the RFGate 3 is self-monitoring which makes any connection of the test output superfluous. Secure monitoring of sensitive security profiles is thus possible for all control operators, even without a test output. By transferring security functions from the controller to the wireless transmission system, RFGate 3 complies with the most stringent security requirements on the market while facilitating commissioning
