The Stellantis Sept-Fons plant in Dompierre announces two new machining lines
The Stellantis plant, a multinational automotive group, is continuing its conversion with the installation of two new brake disc machining lines, by 2023. A new investment of 13 million euros subsidized by the State and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region up to 800,000 euros which will allow the manufacture of 30,000 additional parts. These two new machining lines, in addition to the eight existing ones, will enable the site to produce nearly 130,000 parts per week. The site now represents 500 employees, including temporary workers and subcontractors. The creation of the Stellantis group, in January 2021, raises a lot of hope for the region. This multinational car giant, which results from the merger of the PSA group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, operates and markets fourteen car brands, five of which are from the PSA group and nine from FCA.
