A new production line at Papeteries de Condat

The site has just started at Lardin-Saint-Lazare (Dordogne) in the Papeteries de Condat. For the past few days, the industrial site has been welcoming more than a hundred workers who have come to build a new production line. Once completed, in September 2021, the line of several hundred meters should allow the manufacture of glassine, crystal paper. This is an investment of nearly 80 million euros by the Lecta group, with the support of the State and the Region. The company, which has gone through very difficult years, remains the largest private employer in the department with 420 employees, almost a third of whom are over 55 years old.
