Bout à Bout; raises 7.3 million € to create a new factory
The young Nantes company Bout' à Bout' has just raised 7.3 million euros to create the largest bottle washing plant in France in Carquefou (Loire Atlantique). The company specializing in the deposit and reuse of glass containers is now deployed on an industrial scale. Nearly 3 million euros will be invested in fitting out the new container washing plant, hoping eventually to wash 10,000 then 20,000 bottles per hour on the site, ie more than 60 million bottles per year. The objective of the company is also to develop activity in the Grand Ouest sector by offering a simple service to distributors, producers and consumers. “The aim is to densify and develop the network to disseminate the model and extend it across the territory. The objective: to make reuse a standard of consumption in our daily lives and thus return to more sustainable habits (…)” declared Yann Priou, Managing Director in a press release.
