However, the group retains its workforce in Commercy (about 450 people) because it has the idea of launching a new activity. Always with the aim of reducing costs and reducing fuel consumption, Safran is developing its composite parts repair sector. Pierrick Guillaume, director of Safran Composite explains "In 2022, we have repaired around 200 parts, by the end of the decade in 2030 we will be repairing several thousand parts or even tens of thousands." In this context, Safran also plans to hire around 100 people on its site.
