Manitou lays the foundation stone of a new factory in Candé, an investment of 60 million euros
Manitou Group is launching the construction of a mechanical welding plant in Candé (Maine-et-Loire), a €60 million project planned for 2026, in order to support its international growth, particularly in the United States. This third production unit on the Tesseau site strengthens the local roots of the group, which generates 82% of its turnover outside France. Jacqueline Himsworth, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, and Michel Denis, CEO, highlighted the importance of this investment, demonstrating Manitou's desire to remain competitive on the global market while retaining its local know-how. The Candé project, the group's largest, integrates mechanical welding, previously subcontracted, to optimize the production of nacelle platforms, of which Candé is the global center. Manitou continues to recruit to support this growth and sustain its industry in the long term.
