Linear axes with rolled ball screw and two guides on profiled rails
Compact and easy-to-use linear unit with rolled ball screw. Its base body consists of a self-supporting, hard-anodized aluminum profile with two integrated profile rail guides arranged in parallel. This rail system absorbs very high forces in all directions, is low-wear and offers optimum rolling properties when moving large masses. It achieves excellent performance, including high speeds and very high positioning and repeatability accuracy. The linear units can be easily converted into multiple systems.
In the linear units, a precision rolled ball screw of ISO tolerance class 7 with reduced axial play of the ball nut is used. An antistatic polyurethane protective strip protects all parts inside the profile from dust and other dirt.
The outer faces of the aluminum profile have grooves allowing simple and secure assembly of the profile and the fixing of accessories such as sensors.
Additional tapped holes and centering holes are located on the sides and top of the carriage. In combination with our 20240 centering sleeves, further connecting elements can be precisely mounted on the carriage.
To enable re-greasing of the rolled ball screw and the rail guide, grease holes (hopper-shaped grease nipples DIN 3405D) are provided on both sides of the carriage.
