PS a new generation of position switches

the new generation of PS series position switches offers users greater flexibility and ease of use while simplifying inventory management.

The PS range is designed according to the modular principle: the user can order the switches either complete with actuator or, optionally, as basic switches without actuator. Thanks to the modular principle, the basic switch can, depending on the application, be combined with the required actuator, chosen from different versions. All elements can be interchanged and combined with each other – on the principle of universal compatibility. Thanks to the modular construction, it is possible to reduce the number of versions and thus simplify inventory management.

Position switches are found in all branches of activity, in all industrial environments and allow position detection and monitoring of moving parts of machines and installations as well as lateral shift or rotary protective devices. They are equipped with forced opening contacts and can therefore be used in safety applications, e.g. for position monitoring of protective doors up to performance level PLd.
Position switches are distinguished by their compact design, suitable for mounting in tight spaces. Waterproof to IP66 or IP67, they are also suitable for use in unfavorable or harsh environments.

Position switches with safety function are intended for sliding, pivoting or removable guards which must remain closed in order to guarantee the required operational safety. Type 1 safety switches are also intended for the various positioning functions. A wide range of control devices can meet different needs.
