Cable emergency stop for ATEX zones: ZS 92 S

With the ZS 92 S series, steute presents a new series of rope-operated emergency switches for Ex zones.

Compared to the ZS91, the cable system of these switches has been recalculated, the forces and strokes required for triggering the emergency stop function are therefore considerably reduced. This facilitates the handling of the safety switching device and also leads to compliance with all relevant international standards (e.g. emergency stop devices, pull-rope emergency switches and conveyor safety in continued).

The flexibility of the switching device also played an important role in the development: the release and release lever of the ZS 92 S can be set in nine different "positions". The device can therefore be installed in almost any conceivable position of use and, for the first time, also mounted on the back.

The ZS 92 S can be used in harsh environmental conditions at temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C with maximum cable lengths of 2 x 100 m.

Connecting dimensions compatible with the predecessor ZS 91 and other commercially available pull-rope emergency switches make it easy to upgrade existing (conveyor) systems to the new series.
