3-position radio safety pedal RF GFS (VD) SW2.4-safe

STEUTE has developed a wireless safety pedal based on the secure radio protocol sWave-safe®. The RF GFS 2 D (VD) SW2.4-safe, for example, is a wireless 3-position (off / on / safety) safety foot pedal. Other models are available with or without hard point or reset button. The safety pedal is intended for control or safety functions on machine tools and forming installations . If the operator presses the pedal towards the center position, a dangerous movement may be initiated. In full support, the dangerous movement is immediately stopped. The steute enabling switches all comply with normative requirements (in particular DIN EN 12622 and DIN EN 60947-5-8), they are also DGUV certified. The internal contact system allows precise switching and prevents accidental starting of the machine.

This equipment is designed for ergonomic and comfortable work, very robust even in difficult environments. The 2.4GHz frequency allows worldwide use, for a range of 15 to 20m around the machine. The radio transmission of signals gives the user greater freedom of movement, without the risk of tripping or tearing the cables. This advantage is particularly interesting in large installations.
